Ensuring Safe Crew Changes Amidst COVID-19

At Alzumorud, we prioritize the health and safety of our crew and clients while navigating the complexities of the COVID-19 pandemic. In adherence to the guidelines set by the Federal Transport Authority for Land and Maritime, we have implemented strict protocols for crew changes to ensure compliance and safety.

New Maritime Protocols

  • Entry Visa Requirements: All seafarers are required to obtain a 96-hour entry visa to enter the country. This measure is essential to facilitate smooth and controlled access.
  •  COVID-19 Testing: Seafarers must undergo COVID-19 testing as part of the entry process. The test results must be submitted to the relevant authorities to confirm that all crew members are COVID-19 negative before their arrival.
  • Pre-Registration and Health Monitoring: It is mandatory to pre-register the crew’s itinerary with the authorities. Continuous monitoring of the health of crew members is crucial. We ensure that all necessary forms are completed, detailing the health status of each individual.
  •  Health Declaration: A formal declaration of the crew’s health status is required. In case of any suspected COVID-19 cases, immediate notification to health authorities is imperative. This ensures that proper isolation protocols are followed to prevent the spread of the virus.

At Alzumorud, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. Our team is well-versed in these protocols and is dedicated to managing crew changes efficiently while prioritizing health and safety.
